1 Terranova Beach, Oliva
It is located in the north of the city, the beach of Terranova has an area of one and a half kilometers with a width of about 40 meters. This beach stands out for its golden sands, and despite being semi-urban, its occupation is quite low, which seduces families with children and favors bathing in its calm waters.
2 Racó de la Mar Beach, Canet d’En Berenguer
It is a beach delimited by natural dunes full of fauna and flora which lend it a singular appearance. It is located in a small municipality a few kilometers from Valencia capital. It stands out for its marina in which windsurfing and light sailing courses are taught in summer. Its popularity is booming because of its clean and shallow waters combined with fine golden sand.
3 Beach of L’Ahuir
The beach of L’Ahuir belongs to the municipality of Gandia, a few kilometers from Valencia. It is one of the most beautiful beaches for the purity of its vegetation and because it is a little further away from civilization. It has an extension of 1.7 kilometers in which bathers, naturists and even pets live together, in a space that has been specially adapted for them.
4 Devesa Beach
Formerly known as the Malladeta beach, it is located in the Albufera Natural Park of Valencia. It could be said that it is the only wild beach in the municipality, it is located between el Saler and el Perellonet. This condition gives to the beach a special protection of Natural Park. It stands out for its particular ecosystem, composed of lagoons and dune depressions combined with vegetation that hosts many birds and other species. It is a beach of larger dimensions than the previous ones, with about 5 kilometers in length, it is a perfect place to enjoy a swim or a walk.
5 Dosser Beach, Cullera
The beaches of Cullera are usually quite crowded, but Dosser beach can be enjoyed without worries. Its location is unique since it is a corner where the sands of the beach meet the mountain, towards el Mareny de Sant Llorenç. It is separated from civilization by concentrations of dunes that hide the closest buildings, it is also suitable for bathing, as well as for practicing water sports.
6 Beach Lighthouse beach of Cullera
It is a beach that stands out for its extensive promenade, clean waters and its Lighthouse that, although you cannot visit inside, is still in operation and you can walk along the surrounding paths whose views are excellent.The beach is very quiet, with fine grained sand, suitable for swimming and diving due to its opening to the southeast. In addition, access from the road is very simple.
7 Playa de las Arenas
It belongs to the city of Valencia, it is an urban beach more than one-kilometer long. Its name comes from the old spa that is located on the beach. Throughout it we can find a promenade and all kinds of leisure and restaurant services. The waters are calm and it is ideal for beach sports and very well connected with public transport.
